Ever wondered what would happen if the best drivers from the British Drift Championship faced the best from the Irish Drift Championship in a stand-alone championship? Wonder no more as 2017 sees the launch of a brand-new four round Super Series combining the best talent and venues from both nations. With a host of international stars also lining up to join the title-hunt, this ground-breaking series will see worlds collide and boundaries broken.
Round 1 – King of The Hill – Watergrasshill – Ireland – August 12/13
Drift history will be made as this brand-new Super Series sees the best drivers from the UK and Ireland go to war on a circuit designed to test ability and bravery.
Round 2 – The Takeover – Driftland – Scotland – August 26/27
No Super Series would be complete without a visit to the mecca of UK drifting, Driftland. This purpose-built drift circuit takes no prisoners and creates an atmosphere like no other.
Round 3 – Night Fight – Teesside Autodrome – England – September 15/16
At Round 3 the Super Series goes under the lights for a night fight at the infamous Teesside Autodrome. Contrasting high-speed and technical sections make this venue a firm driver favourite.
Round 4 – Japfest – Mondello Park – Ireland – September 23/24
Our final round of the season needs no introduction. Ireland’s biggest and baddest Japanese car show never fails to produce heart-stopping moments and define drift careers.
Stay tuned to both the BDC and IDC web and social media feeds for further information on this revolutionary new series.
