“Dear BDC fans,
On behalf of the British Drift Championship, I wish to inform you that our intended Round 4 of the championship, scheduled for the 22/23 of July, 2017, has been cancelled. The reason for this cancellation relates to the lack of compatibility between the current BDC event structure and restrictions placed by local residents on the Lydden Hill circuit.
Both Lydden Hill and the British Drift Championship agree that adhering to said restrictions will limit the potential and entertainment value of the event and hope to find a solution to these issues in the future.
We do express apology once again for this cancellation and any inconvenience it may cause, but rest assured that we will see you all for Round 4 of the BDC in Driftland on August 26/27.” – David Egan, Championship CEO
Lydden Hill have also release this statement regarding the cancellation.
