As the championship heads into it’s 7th year in 2014, there are more and more drifters in the UK who wish to take part in Europe’s biggest and best series.
As in previous years the championship hosted one of two licensing days at Lydden Hill Circuit in Kent. 70 drivers were given the opportunity to show they have what it takes to impress the judges and be awarded either a Semi Pro or Pro licence.

Over the next few weeks we here at the British Drift Championship will be giving you the opportunity to get to know some of the people who make up the BDC family. We’ll be chatting to everyone, from drivers to marshals, pit crew to photographers. This week, we kick things off with Phil Morrison, owner of Driftworks and driver of his world famous Nissan R32. (more…)
This week we take a look at the R33 Nissan Skyline of Nick ‘The Urban Tiger’ Brady, who has been working on his car over the past few months, albeit with a little help thanks to his self-confessed total lack of mechanical ability!
Winners of the 2012 Team Event in The British Drift Championship, Team Japspeed, have been asked back once again to the Live Action Arena at Autosport International in 2013. (more…)
Another of the cars on display at the British Drift Championship stand at Autosport is the immaculately prepared 180sx of Irishman Wesley Keating. (more…)
