‘My name is Jarack “Jeek” Federico and my current drift car is a 1996 E39 BMW 540 Manual – this has a 4.4l V8 in it with around 300BHP and the same amount of torque. I started drifting around 6 years ago after stumbling across it on an internet forum. At that point i realised there was no website that catered for grass roots drifting. This is when my website www.TrampDrift.com was born. The site allows people who have a smaller budget to get involved in the sport, by giving them the information they need, and hosting some events around the country. Trampdrift is now the 2nd biggest drift community in the UK.
I have been competing on an off for 3 years now as and when funds would allow. Last year i only entered one of the rounds of the www.thebritishdriftchampionship.com, I entered my local round which is held at Knockhill. As my current car did not have a rollcage in it at that point i had to borrow a friends underpowered Sierra to compete in. I managed to finish in 8th place and was also awarded the “HARD CHARGER” award.

Last year I did alot of demo drifting, mostly for Future publishing who publish the likes of total Vauxhall ,Fast Ford, Redline and many others. I have a very good relationship with the events manager at Future and i know he plans on having drifting at alot more of their shows this year and he will be calling on me to organize and drive. We also did various Demos at Knockhill Last year including Drift Taxis at the European Drifting championships, as well as the largest modified car show in Scotland (which we have just been invited back to this year).’
