International Guests To Join The Party

Team Falken Stars Are Ready To Invade Scotland

We have been teasing the drifting public recently, by mentioning two guest drivers for Round 6 of the Maxxis British Drift Championship. Well no more cryptic clues, half hearted hints and terrible teasers; let’s just crack on and spill the beans! Who are they?

We will have Holland’s Remmo Niezen and Lars Verbraeken ripping up Knockhill as they represent Team Falken! You cannot miss this pair, if not of their fantastically flamboyant driving style, it will be for the unmissable styling of the BMW E30′s that they pilot. These two always catch your attention and once you’ve seen them, you’ll never forget it!

There are obviously some differences on the cars but when together they display a real “team feel”. There are certainly some huge differences under the bonnets. They both push a solid 500+bhp, which in a lightweight BMW E30 is enough to make the scenery go blurry.

Remmo has kept things within the Bavarian family by fitting a BMW V8 engine, while Lars has looked to the land of the rising sun and opted to fit a 1JZ engine. Regardless of your own personal preference, you cannot argue with the outcome, they most definitely work!

The cars have an insane level of detail and engineering with huge modifications to put these two right at the top of the pile. The lock is on another level, the engine in Lars car is relocated further back to aid the vital weight distribution, these are serious sideways machines!

The pair will be looking to end a terrific season of events with an appearance in the Maxxis British Drift Championship. We have seen what they are capable of before and they have the hardware and skills to cause some upsets, Remmo indeed lifted the coveted 1st place in his first BDC event!

The regular Super Pro Drivers will have to be on top form to hold off the charging advances from two of Europe’s most famous and gifted drifters. The smiling faces hide the clinical and precise nature of these drift assassins! (Remmo is on the left, Lars is on the right in the picture shown).

We are watering at the mouth in anticipation of seeing how this one will unfold!Judgement Day is going to be something special, if you miss it, you’ll regret it! We will see you at Knockhill Racing Circuit on the 29th and 30th of September.
