Night Fight timetable
Ladies and gents
We head to Norfolk Arena or round 2 of the Maxxis British Drift Championship next weekend.
Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd June!
Here are the times you need for all the action from the UK’s premier drift championship.
Friday.
0900 the track will open for practice, the Semi Pro’s out first, Professional class up next followed by the Super Professional class.
Practice will finish at 1330, we then go in to single run qualifying from 1400. The drivers go in the zone to show the crowd and more importantly the judges exactly who should be in the all important top 16 positions.
Saturday.
The drivers get the chance to chill out before we open the track for more practice from 1130. Practice will run until 1500.
The cars will then be lined up on track and the crowd will be invited to meet the drivers and have an up close and personnel view of the cars.
Then at 1630 we start the main event, the finals!
The Semi Professional class
The Professional class
The Super Professional class
In that order, none stop action guaranteed all the way until we have 3 winners and a Team/constructors winner for round 2!
The event will finish under the floodlights of the Arena at approximately 2100 so no excuses to get your self to the event.
We look forward to seeing you there next weekend!
Many thanks
The BDC team.

Drift stars to TV stars
BDC on the big screen
Its been said before that the Maxxis British Drift Championship is progressing, and we have even more proof for you. There’s been a recent buzz surrounding the first round of the BDC at Teesside being screened on television. That isn’t a rumour, it’s a fact!
Motors TV will be running a section of half hour long programmes about the BDC. This is fantastic news for everyone involved! Besides the personal satisfaction of seeing yourself on your widescreen at home, it will be just the news that your loyal sponsors will want to hear!

Driver Intro: Gary Hughes, R34, Skyline Owners Team
I first started drifting in 2006/2007 on what they call a grass roots level. In 2007 the British Open was my first taste of competition drifting and I was hooked! In 2008 the BDC was created. This is my 4th year with the BDC and hopefully will be 4th time lucky after suffering 11 engine failures in both the 2008/2009 seasons, and the 2009 EDC season. I thought 2010 would of been my year, but sadly I had to bow out for this season due to major back surgery. (more…)
