After another ground breaking season in the Maxxis Tyres British Drift Championship we can now announce the three 2012 champions.
We have had 6 events at 5 venues over the course of the season and have had drivers from England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Holland, Germany, Portugal, Belgium and Norway. In the end there can be only 1 winner per class.

In the toughest championship class in Europe and after 8 years of competitive drifting we can officially announce the 2012 Super Professional champion is Team Japspeed driver Paul “Smokey” Smith.

The televised screenings of the Maxxis British Drift Championship have been a massive success! The programmes made by Greenlight TV and screened on Motors TV have showcased the Championship to a whole demographic of people who’ve been unable to attend the Rounds live. For those who loyal fans who have attended; it gives back something extra as they can re-live the action, see it from another angle and of course look out for themselves to see if they have gained five minutes of fame on TV!
