The British Drift Championship is excited to announce their attendance at the 2018 Autosport International Show located at the NEC, Birmingham, UK between the 11th and 14th of January 2018. The 2018 BDC calendar is set and we are ready to cement our place amongst the biggest drifting championships in the world. A packed calendar will see drivers travel the full length of the country battling it out over 5 rounds of door on door action. To coincide with Autosport, we will be launching the season across all social media platforms on January 11th so make sure to stay tuned.
Autosport International is the leading UK exhibition dedicated to enthusiasts of motorsport and performance tuning and has been held at the NEC since January 1991. Thursday the 11th and Friday the 12th of January are dedicated to members of the motorsport, automotive and performance engineering sectors. Featuring over 600 of the biggest and best-known exhibitors, a number of show areas and features a dedicated business lounge and much more, the show is a hub of international business.
Saturday the 13th and Sunday the 14th of January, the show opens its doors to the public with thousands of motorsport and performance car enthusiasts from around the UK and abroad. The show becomes a celebration of all things motorsport with celebrity appearances, live action arena and more.
The Live Action Arena is the UK’s largest indoor race track and every year it provides one the highlights of the show. An exhilarating 60 minute show featuring everything from time trials to Terry Grant, this year joining them on the grid will be 2 of European driftings most prolific figures. 2017 Formula D Champion James Deane and 14 year old drift phenom Conor Shanahan will go head to head for your entertainment. Located in Hall 5 of the NEC and seating 5,000 racing fans, the Live Action Arena is a unique experience and a must see for any motorsport fan.
