If there was ever to be a museum of drifting, Mat “Mitto” Steele would be the curator. He has forgotten more about the sport than most of us can ever hope to know, from it’s history to it’s techniques to it’s great innovators, and he is a pivotal part of a lot of UK drifters’ introduction to the sport. In 2010, Mitto was the tour guide for Driftworks bosses Phil Morrison and James Robinson on their journey to Japan with filmmaker Al Clark, which spawned the documentary “Outsiders”. We don’t need to tell you about Outsiders, you’ve seen it.
Mitto has decided to get back into the drivers seat and he’s bringing his new S15 Silvia complete with a DY Engines SR20 under the bonnet to show the BDC grid how they do it in Japan!
